Business financing referrals · Catering businesses

Start a funding request around your catering schedule.

Catering orders bring ingredient, staffing and equipment commitments before final client payments. Describe the confirmed work and the upfront expense your funding request would cover.

Defining the expense

Examples of expenses to outline

01

Service equipment

Hot boxes, serving stations and transport containers help food reach the venue in usable condition. Compare purchase and hire costs for the actual event schedule.

02

Event supplies

Ingredients, tableware and consumables may need ordering well before a wedding or corporate event. Deduct client deposits already received when calculating the remaining gap.

03

Preparation capacity

A larger booking may require kitchen hire, extra work surfaces or temporary cold storage. Include the preparation days as well as the event day in the budget.

Review expenses alongside payment dates

Separate client deposits, staged payments and the final balance for each booking. A signed event agreement and an unpaid enquiry should not be treated as the same source of revenue.

Important points for applicants

Read about the process and our role

Where do my details go after submission?

This service is compensated by funding partners for referrals and the sale of submitted application details. We may share a request with up to five partners who can contact you; our compensation is independent of funding and we charge no application fee.

Who makes the funding decision?

A referral is not a promise that a partner will make an offer. The business must meet that provider’s requirements before financing can be agreed.

When should I expect an update?

A funding partner may ask for records or clarification before making a decision. The requested date should therefore be treated as part of the application, not a promise.

How do I confirm access to my phone?

A received SMS code does not replace the need to read the contact and sharing disclosures. Review those conditions before completing the submission.
